Skyworth has unveiled the HONGTU, its first large 100% electric van, at the 2024 Paris Motor Show.It will be available in two lengths (5.49 m and 5.99 m) and two heights (2.20 m and 2.70 m), offering a cargo volume ranging from 9.5 to 13 m³. Two weight versions are offered: 3.5 tons and 4.25 tons, with a maximum payload of 1,755 kg.The interior is modern and comfortable, featuring a large 15.6-inch touchscreen, wireless charging, and full smartphone connectivity.In terms of safety, the HONGTU comes equipped with several driver assistance systems: automatic emergency braking, lane keeping assist, and speed assist.It runs on two types of batteries (88 kWh or 105 kWh) supplied by CATL, and a 150 kW (370 Nm) electric motor.
